I have been in and around the health and fitness industry since 1996, working in commercial gyms, council run gyms, delivering corporate health and wellness programs and the owner and founder of GOPT Group Personal Training since January 2013.
My journey through adulthood has given me a wonderful opportunity to learn about human behaviour. Through my own personal challenges with alcohol and drugs, I have learned what it is like to rely on substances to manage my emotions and how I feel. By choosing a life of sobriety, currently 6 years clean and sober, I have established a life that is filled with joy, peace, laughter and serenity, and I have a toolbox of ways to manage myself effectively in most situations without alcohol or drugs. Today, I love my life. I am fitter, stronger, healthier and happier than I have ever been. I am 44 now. I am working on being even fitter, stronger, healthier and happier by the time I reach 54. One day at a time, I will enjoy the challenge of constant and never- ending improvement.
I am married with 2 young daughters 8 and 5 and I cherish the challenges that comes with these gifts. I have created a system around living, that has become known as “THE GOPT WAY”. It involves managing well what is within our control. Our sleep, nutrition, mindset, physical training and connection with good quality people. The GOPT way stems from 2 decades of coaching people and getting clear on how we need to impact multiple areas of our lives to achieve long term positive change, these are also the areas of my life I continue working on in my recovery from alcohol and drug abuse. 2 decades of coaching and my own personal challenges helped me become clear that work on each of these areas can help anyone who wants a better life. If we want our lives to be better, we need to become better.
Being able to deliver our Coaching program “The GOPT Way” gives me a real purpose, brings me immense joy and is an opportunity to celebrate, on a daily basis, a life I am extremely grateful for. I love what I do and I love our GOPT Fitness Family.

My mission is to help you achieve your goals no matter what they are, in a fun and friendly environment, and to help you become the best version of you.
At the age of 44 I stepped onto the scales and saw the number that would change my life forever, 76 kilos, 12 kilos heavier than I was after giving birth to twins and heading into a size 16. Realizing I wasn’t getting any younger, I decided it was time to do something about it. Over the next couple of years I made a complete turn around with my diet and began to exercise on a regular basis. I managed to lose 18 kilos and can honestly say I feel like I’m in the best physical and mental shape I have ever been in. This journey helped shape who I am today, re-fuelled my passion for health and fitness and motivated me to become a qualified personal trainer. I wanted to be able to help people take the first steps in improving their health and fitness, motivate and encourage them to push harder throughout their training session and drive them to achieve the results they want. I have been working with GOPT as a coach and leader since I became a PT in 2016. Through being persistent and consistent, I believe everybody has the potential to reach his or her goals no matter how big or small. You may have heard the saying “its 10% training and 90% diet”. While this does highlight the importance of proper nutrition, my belief is:
100% Training
100% Diet
100% Mindset
In my experience as a mother of four adult children and my role as head coach of the Junior Athlete program, I believe that one of the greatest gifts we can give to a child is confidence and I couldn’t be more grateful for the role I get to play every day with our junior athletes teaching them how to move well, get fit and have fun at the same time. I want to help build their confidence which will allow them to progress in everything they do.

Health and fitness has been a life long passion for me. I was always an active kid and this has continued to be a theme through my adulthood. I started out in little athletics, played AFL and soccer, turned to weightlifting in my 20’s as well as being a long term martial artist. I am a 3rd degree black singlet in BJMA Muay Thai Kickboxing as well as a qualified MT instructor. I joined GOPT (for the 2nd time) as an athlete in 2020. I recently stepped out of a successful corporate career in a senior leadership role. I thrived on leadership, mentoring, coaching and developing teams and workforces to bring out the best in people. But I found myself eventually unfulfilled. I wanted to make a difference in a more meaningful way and transform people’s lives through better health and mindset. I took action in my life to transition across to coaching, where I combine my passion for health and fitness with my years of leadership experience to create an outstanding experience for our GOPT athletes. I am proud to be a coach at GOPT and be part of a community that is making healthy and happy, normal.

- Mindset Coach
- Passionate about helping people live healthier happier lives
I first entered the health and fitness industry as a personal trainer. My mission: help people reach their health and fitness goals. What I soon realised is that health goes far deeper than the physical and if I really wanted to help people I needed to tap into their minds as well. That’s where Yoga and Coaching came in. Through my own personal experience with these modalities, I’ve been able to lead a healthier happier life that would have had my younger self’s jaw dropped asking how on earth that’s even possible. Now, I help others do the same thing.
Our health is more than just what’s on the scales. It comprises the mind, body and soul. Look after all these aspects of who you are and you’ll make healthy, happy normal for you too
Claudia Green
Pilates Instructor
Claudia discovered Pilates after a serious back injury. She was constantly visiting the physiotherapist and always in pain, that was, until a friend suggested Pilates.
Claudia was hooked on Pilates from from her very first session. Her recovery was miraculous. Claudia is now passionate about teaching the joy of good movement to others. She believes that every day should be lived in strength and be free from restriction and pain.
With her passion for Pilates ignited, she enrolled to train in Pilates mat work and then went on to complete a full Diploma in Pilates.
Over the last seven years Claudia has come to understand that Pilates is so much more than just a focus on your core.
It is about strength, mobility and flexibility and the ability to integrate all of these into flowing, effortless movement. As muscles become leaner and stronger, flexibility is enhanced and posture becomes lengthened.
Claudia believes the key to the perfect Pilates session is individual care and attention and it is her passion to ensure every client receives this.
When she is not teaching Pilates, Claudia is mum to 3 gorgeous children and somewhere between all of that she loves hiking, cooking and reading.
